Trainer – Behavior Management in Group Activities

1. Objective

The objective of this assignment is to equip staff with practical tools and techniques to manage group behavior positively, reduce disruptions, and promote inclusive and safe learning environments.

2. Scope of Work

The trainer will be responsible for:

• Designing a one-day, practice-oriented training program
• Preparing the agenda, training materials, handouts, pre and post-test, training tools and any other materials as requested by TDH Italy
• Delivering the training, in person, using participatory methods
• Conducting the pre- and post-training and analysis of the result for use in the training report and training recommendations
• Submitting a brief training report, using the template shared by TDH Italy

3. Key Topics

The training should cover, at minimum:

• Understanding children’s behavior in group settings
• Positive discipline and behavior reinforcement
• Managing disruptive and aggressive behavior
• De-escalation techniques
• Inclusive behavior management
• Facilitator self-regulation

4. Duration and Date

• Duration: One (1) full day (6–7 hours)
• Date: February to March, to be confirmed.

5. Target Participants

Approximately 15 staff members, including CP officers, technical coordinators, & PSS facilitators.
