Volunteer

Under the project "Strengthening access to quality and inclusive education services for the vulnerable boys and girls of the Palestinian refugee communities in Lebanon" funded by Unicef.

TDH It is looking for a volunteer to follow up on the below mentioned taskes:

The Volunteer will be responsible of:

• Support in the implementation of project activities directly in the places of implementation and maintaining flow of communication with all local partners foreseen by the TDH IT Palestinian Programme Education Activities, in conjunction with the area focal points.
• Support in all aspects of the implementation of the project (programmatic, monitoring, administrative, logistic, etc.), maintaining the daily relations with partners located in area of operation.
• Support in the logistics processes to procure, store and distribute stocks, supplies and services for the timely delivery of project objectives.
• Assist in translating documents from Arabic to English and vice versa, when required by the conduction of the activities.
• Contribute to the preparation of relevant documents (including brochures, information notes, information board updates) for target communities.
• Receiving training on Education and Protection.
• Any other duty assigned by the Project coordinator, in the framework of the Education activities.

Required Profile:

• University degree in Sociology, education or a related field.
• 1 year of volunteering  experience, including at the field level, in the NGO system preferably inside Palestinian camps.
• Experience in child protection and education fields is an asset.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and work.
• Experience in working with a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player; Ability to live and productively work under stress and in insecure and harsh environments.
• Commitment to the aims, principles and values of TDH IT.
• Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to the needs of the team and organization.
