BACKGROUND
The USAID BALADI project is a five-year program that extends from September 2012 until September 2017. It seeks to encourage innovation in service delivery by local governments. This project is implemented by Caritas Lebanon in nine Lebanese districts in partnership with T.E.R.R.E.Liban. It sponsors an in-kind competitive grants program that responds to governance and economic opportunity needs. All planned activities under this project should be compliant with USAID rules and local regulations.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of Municipal development projects’ preliminary design.
Conduct site visits when necessary in coordination with T.E.R.R.E.Liban.
Provide the necessary technical recommendations in Football Court safety measures to be included in the design of each project in compliance with FIFA Safety Regulations.
Submit a list of equipment, tools and devices needed for each project with technical specs and price/ cost estimation.
Review and approve updated design of each project to ensure compliance with FIFA Safety Regulations.
Submit a final report on the safety status and recommendations of each football court project.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED / JOB RELATED SKILLS
· Bachelor degree in Sports and Physical Education or related disciplines
· At least 5 years of similar experience in Safety for Football Court is a must (FIFA Regulations).
· USAID Experience is a plus
· Attention to accuracy and detail required
· Able to perform under tight deadlines
· Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with attention to detail.
· Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus
· Excellent reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
· Good computer applications skills.
