The Finance an Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient financial and administrative services.
General responsibilities of the Administration and Finance officer include:
- Implement financial policies and procedures
- Establish, maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Draft all necessary administration and financial management correspondence and be responsible for follow-up
- Collect, update and maintain financial files and records and prepare balance sheet
- Prepare the necessary required Financial Reports at time of requesting the advance of ufnds on the basis of a corresponding work plan and budget
- Manage funds in conformity with the administrative and financial procedures of the firm
- Assist with preperation of the budget
- Prepare and reconcile bamk statements
- Establish new and maintain existing supplier accounts
- Process supplier invoices
- Maintain the purchase order system and ensure data is entered into the system
- Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
- Receive and verify invoices
- Process and record petty cash transactions
- Maintain the assets register
- Reconcile accounts
- Submit staff time sheets for payroll processing
- Perform any other duties as required

- At least 3 years of experience in the Finance and Administration role with strong interest in the field
