- Assist the senior researchers in the overall work of the program, in administrative, technical and research-oriented tasks, working collaboratively with a team;
- Assist in qualitative and quantitative research including literature reviews, research design, tool design, data analysis and discussion, and generation of recommendations;
- Support on data entry in the available platforms;
- Assist in proposal writing for relevant projects across CRD and seek out new potential proposals;
- Develop or assist in developing original research ideas in the form of concept notes and/or full proposals;
- Assist in writing reports, briefs, articles, and other relevant outputs for publications;
- Based on the conducted research, design monitoring and evaluation indicators relevant to the objectives of the project;
- Document all the activities and research and list of interviewed stakeholders, with conclusions from each meeting;
- Assist the field coordinator in the coordination of field team for research activities;
- Lead in conducting field research in the form of focus groups, interviews, case studies, observations, and surveys, and other data collection methods;
- Attend, and when necessary, represent CRD in meetings with project partners;
- Work with the teams in other departments across CRD on relevant projects and tasks.
- Other tasks assigned by the CEO;
- Undertake continuing professional development and participate in national and international workshops.

● Minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Economics, or similar fields with a strong qualitative and analytical component;
● At least 5 years of working experience in research and more precisely on one or more of the following topics: livelihood, development, humanitarian intervention, human rights, good governance, climate change, economic development, child protection, migration etc…
● Proven solid experience of working with qualitative research;
● Proven ability to conduct field research, data collection, and empirical data analysis i.e., Focus Group Discussions, Key Informant Interviews, Workshop activities, Observations, etc….
● Proven solid experience in literature reviews and reviews of relevant data related to the mentioned topics;
● Proven experience in developing policy recommendations based on research evidence,
● Proven ability to visualize and communicate the data, including within a larger narrative report;
● Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working in Lebanon and the MENA region is a must
● Knowledge and mastering research ethics;
● Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills;
● Collaborative and constructive team member;
● Ability to meet tight deadlines, multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work in a fast-paced environment;
● Strong presentation skills;

● Fluency in written and oral English. Arabic is a must.
