- Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates data using accepted statistical techniques.
- Recommends and develops statistical approaches for use in analyses.
- Solves complex statistical and programming problems.
- Determines proper methodology and evaluation processes for planned research projects including sample size determination/power calculations, study design, and interim data monitoring of studies in progress.
- Prepares analysis plans and writes detailed specifications for analysis files, consistency checks, tables, and figures; documents analyses.
- Organizes and creates documents and tables related to datasets; communicates with data providers internal and external about accuracy and consistent documented formatting.
- Plans statistical programming activities.
- Provides clear written and verbal summary interpretations of statistical analyses conducted; effectively communicates with colleagues of all backgrounds regarding statistical matters.
- Contributes to publications and reports including drafting methods and results sections as well as providing appropriate tables and figures.
- Other tasks as assigned by the CEO.
