Communication Trainee

The primary responsibilities of the Communication Trainee are to: Assisting in operationalizing the ‘visibility plan” activities and advocacy campaign of LTA projects, including managing the administrative and logistic issues. Supporting LTA’s Executive Director on all aspects related to media and visibility. Assisting in producing written reports, newsletters, briefing papers, and other documents as required. Working with communication agencies, designers and web developers on promotional materials, on regular updates of LTA’s website and social media campaigns, and on advertisement materials (such as documentaries, billboards, TV ads, and newspaper ads). Helping in responding to inquiries from the media and other stakeholders, liaising with media outlets on all LTA-related matters, and draft press releases and communiqués on behalf of LTA.   The Communication Trainee should have the following qualifications: Student in Information & Communication (undergraduate or freshly graduated) Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus. Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills. Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives. Commitment to transparency, good governance, and anti-corruption.
