Background: LTA, which was established in May 1999, is Transparency International (TI)'s Lebanese chapter. It is the first Lebanese NGO that focuses on curbing corruption and promoting the principles of good governance. LTA does not investigate or expose individual cases of corruption, instead, LTA advocates for reform by focusing on systemic improvement and by building coalitions with other anti-corruption stakeholders, including the government, parliamentarians, the private sector, media institutions, the international community and civil society organizations. For more information: http://transparency-lebanon.org/ The primary responsibilities of the Intern are to: Coordinate with the executive team while implementing activities; Assist the executive team during field visits, conferences, and workshops; Support in drafting proposals and progress reports; Documentation and archiving of materials and data; and Facilitate communication between LTA and other stakeholders throughout the implementation of projects The Intern should have the following qualifications: BS/BA in either Law, Political Science, International Relations, Public Administration, Sociology, Communications, Public Relations, or any related field. Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus. Commitment to transparency, good governance, and anti-corruption. Strong desire to learn.
