Responsabilities
- Oversee overall management of the program in Lebanon.
- Prepare financial and narrative reports to funding agencies in coordination with the program coordinator and the financial manager.
- Ensure that the implementation of the program is in accordance with the ALAC mandate as per contract and chronology of activities.
- In liaison with the Communication Department:
Select and process materials for the website and Facebook.
Develop and implement a media strategy to promote the center.
Organize outreach sessions to introduce the center to Lebanese citizens in coordination with the grassroots team and communication department.
- In liaison with program lawyers:
Produce statistics of complaints and their development.
Produce reports diagnosing the areas of corruption in the public administration system and recommendations with respect to elimination/reduction of corruption spots.
Ensure smooth operation of the hotline.
Oversee the work of legal assistants, as well as including volunteers (filling in forms, keeping registries, etc.).
Meet with victims and witnesses of corruption.
- Monitor the complaints submitted by citizens to respective public agencies.
Skills
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic; French is a plus
Experience in writing proposals and concept notes with key international and local donors
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Good knowledge of budgeting and programming
Advanced computer literacy with a focus on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiar with the internet and the use of social media
Leadership and strong capacity for planning and organization
Excellent interpersonal skills, team work and a good listener
Good communication skills
Ability to take initiatives and be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
Ability to quickly learn and understand an issue and to handle unexpected issues
Organizational skills
Multitasking, analytical thinking, integrity, team spirit, ability to work with low supervisory and dynamism
Positive and professional attitude, able to organize, maintain composure and prioritize work under pressure, work overtime when necessary and be able to coordinate multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Ability to work as a member of a team essential.
Exposure to civil society organizations is a plus.
