The legal intern will undertake research and analysis, and assist in various related tasks and programs. This includes general office administration and any other relevant duty or responsibility assigned by the Management and Programs Department. The legal researcher will be required to assist with:

  • The preparation/organization and wide ranging work relating to the various programs/meetings/workshops/conferences.
  • Undertaking research and preparing papers and detailed reports, including papers with analysis.
  • The preparation of meeting programs, materials, logistical arrangements and post-meeting and activity follow up.
  • Assisting in the preparation of guide books, recommendations for legislation, and other relevant materials.
  • Preparing background materials and project reports in line with the Strategic Plan of the organization and work plan;
  • Any other relevant duty or responsibility assigned by the Management and Programs Department.

 

The Legal Intern should have the following qualifications:
 

  • BS/BA in either Law, Political Science, International Relations, or any related field.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English, French is a plus.
  • Commitment to transparency, good governance, and anti-corruption.
  • Strong desire to learn.
