Projects Assistant

Description of tasks

Support the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of LTA's projects under the guidance of LTA's Program and Project Managers. 

Specific Tasks

- Assist LTA team in the planning, implementation and reporting of project’s activities

- Assist in the follow up of projects’ activities to achieve projects’ deliverables

- Assist in the coordination of project's visibility material with the Communications Unit

- Assist in the outreach efforts with external stakeholders in order to ensure smooth implementation of project's activities

- Maintain a filing system for all projects related documentation including booking lists, planning sheets, and financial documents and media materials

- Assist in and organize meetings and events, including preparing materials, taking minutes of meetings, drafting summaries, etc.

- Assist in or independently develop research products, publications, calls;

- Perform other related tasks as required

 

Position Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in social science, or relevant disciplines.

- 2-3 years of experience in research or project follow up.

- Ability to complete tasks on time.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.

- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently, coordinate, and plan with relevant team members

- Fluency in English, and Arabic and French is a plus

- Ability to give and receive feedback constructively

- Capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
