Duties include, but are not limited to:
Conduct desk review and literature review on topic;
Conduct interviews with key resource persons, including government and other stakeholders;
Conduct research as part of LTA's project on Transparency & election
Draft narrative report, summary table and recommendations in English in line
Gather data received from the field facilitators and transform them into statistical facts and narrative reports;
Report to the senior and project managers on the work progress.
Required Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Economics, Social Science, Law or other relevant fields. Master’s Degree preferred.
At least three years of professional experience in research preferably with non-profit organizations.
Fluent in Arabic and English, including the ability to speak, read, and write. Oral and written fluency in French is a plus.
Proven expertise in political-institutional analysis, with particularly strong knowledge of the country’s governance system,
Excellent understanding of the legal framework and actual practice of the country’s major governance institutions,
Familiarity with transparency, accountability and anti-corruption discourse,
Highly developed analytical and writing skills.
Be able to identify opportunities and work with a minimum of directions, as well as be well-organized, creative, systematic thinker and be detail-oriented.
Experience using participatory research techniques.
