Scriptwriter / Filmmaker

LTA is looking for an experienced Scriptwriter and Video Producer/Filmmaker to support with our upcoming video production. This role will sit with a team of Transparency and Good Governance experts. The ideal candidate is a talented and passionate Scriptwriter and Filmmaker that thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment, with a taste and knowledge of the 2022 Lebanese Parliamentary Elections.

The video should focus on Transparency, Campaign Finance and Bribery in the Elections.

Key job responsibilities

• Write a script and visualize it in a storyboard
• Produce and film the video with all the required technical and creative elements
• Edit the video and deliver it on time

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scriptwriting and producing
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficient in using audiovisual equipment and editing/animation softwares
• A Portfolio that demonstrates strategic insight and writing
• Able to change a viewer’s perceptions and behavior with compelling writing and filmmaking or animation
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Think and act both strategically and tactically

Key elements of the video

1. Inform the viewers about the Elections, Campaign Finance and Bribery.

2. Create a need for our target audience to want to know more about the topic by explaining it in an appealing, easy-to-understand way and motivate them to go out and vote.

3.The video will range from 1 to 2 min in length.

4.It will be in Lebanese Arabic, and English subtitles will be added to it. 

5.It will follow LTA's branding guidelines and color palette (red, white, black and grey).

6.The VO should be recorded by a well-known Voice Actress/Actor.

7.The deadline is scheduled for the 1st week of February.
