Senior Researcher

The primary tasks of the Senior Researcher are as follows: Formulate the success stories compiled from the youth and the recommendations existing within LTA to be included in the publication Develop the good governance matrix to be included in the publication Conduct meetings and/or interviews, if necessary, with stakeholders including representatives from the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, Presidents of municipalities or their representatives and the youth shadow councils.    The Senior Researcher should have the following qualifications: Proven expertise in political-institutional analysis, with particularly strong knowledge of the country’s governance system; Excellent knowledge and acquaintances in the principles of Good Governance particularly those of the municipalities and participatory budgeting; Excellent understanding of the legal framework and actual practice of the country’s major governance institutions; Familiarity with transparency, accountability and anti-corruption discourse, Ability to write succinctly and for a non-academic audience; Proven commitment to practical policy reform and evidence-based advocacy in the field of anti-corruption and good governance; Minimum 5 years’ experience in working with/applying quantitative indicators and rating methodologies; Experience using participatory research techniques.
