Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Deputy Representative (Programme) or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Executive Assistant will:
• Maintain the supervisor’s calendar and arrange virtual and in-person meetings;
• Prepare documentation for the supervisor’s signature;
• Keep track and organize requests for approval;
• Draft correspondence, invitations, and responses to written inquiries on routine questions;
• Provides secretarial, administrative and logistics support to meetings, missions and events;
• Follow up on established deadlines and ensure timely submissions by staff on reports, correspondence and other documents;
• Perform any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.

Required Experience: 3 years
• At least 3 years of professional work experience in administrative, planning, logistics or secretarial support;
• Experience with calendar management of senior officials is an asset, as is experience working in the UN or other international development organization.
• Experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is required.
• Strong organizational, planning and prioritizing skills and abilities.
• Ability to deal patiently and tactfully with visitors.
• High sense of confidentiality, initiative and good judgment.
• Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural background.
• Experience using other UNICEF software such as SharePoint; knowledge of integrated management information systems is an advantage.
