UNV Programme Assistant

Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Programme Coordinator or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Programme Assistant will:

Provide administrative and logistical support to the management and implementation of programs

Undertake all logistical, administrative, and financial arrangements for organization for meetings, workshops, roundtable discussions, press conferences and other events.

Coordinate and support the organization of advocacy activities and campaigns events and manage the logistics for conducting them with select departments/ stakeholders. This includes venue management, participant invitations and follow-up for attendance, etc.;

Gather data and information for the preparation of documents, position papers, and briefing materials.

Prepare public information materials, briefing packets, PowerPoint, and other presentations, in collaboration with the Feminist Coalition Building and Civil Society Specialist.

Organize and coordinate filing of documents; maintain mailing lists.

Provide administrative support to resource mobilization

Organize, compile, and process documentation and information from donors and program team as inputs to various databases and documents.

Provide writing support

Draft minutes in meetings, as delegated.

Take comprehensive notes of inputs provided during meetings, workshops and events.

Support in preparing reports and draft outcomes report of the advocacy activities, highlighting the event’s results and synthesis of recommendations for future action.

Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
