Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of the Supply and Logistics Manager or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the Supply and Logistics UN Youth Volunteer will:
Ensure Supply & Logistics files are up to date and appropriately filed/stored to facilitate easy and quick access as needed;
Participate in regular warehouse physical inventory counts;
Initiate good receipt on the system for supplies into the warehouse and or to implementing partner, and distributes invoices to relevant programs, monitors invoicing process related to supply function and monitors invoice process with the goal of adherence by all parties;
Provide through monitoring and analysis of relevant VISION report support to the monthly clearing of Goods in Transit account;
Support and Follow up on distributions with beneficiaries to ensure the items received match with the distribution plan and waybills;
Support in customs clearance, loading, and delivery to warehouse/partner;
Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor.
