UNV Videographer/Photographer

Assignment Context:
Portraying different types of disabilities through Audiovisual Outputs.

Task description:
Within the delegated authority and under the supervision of Secretary of Committee, Political affairs or his/her designated mandated representative(s), the UNV Videographer/Photographer will:

• Take photos (portrait and in action) and video footage of persons with disability from all walks of life, representing different types of disabilities.
• Provide necessary edits (color correction, etc.) of photos and video footage taken.
• Develop visual workflows, storyboards and concepts to create engaging content for social media
• Conceptualize, prepare and shoot videos/photo shoots, properly setting up light and sound conditions.
• Film interviews or short video messages or short video messages with persons with disability, taking into account with utmost respect any necessary adaptation needed.
• Edit and produce multimedia video projects with Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects
• Conduct the appropriate research and investigation to properly represent persons with disability from across the region, while maintaining gender equality, age and race diversity, among other criteria.
• Produce information spots, wrap-up videos, scene-setting videos, explainers, and other videos as required.
• Assist in the production and post-production of other visual assets and visual content for social media and support the team in the production of other multimedia content.
• Perform other duties as requested by ESCWA Communication Unit

Required Experience:
At least 12 years of professional work experience in Photography and Videography, especially in coverage of conferences and documentary areas, or other related experience is required.

Ability to provide good Storytelling through Photo Essays is required.

3 years of experience in Live Broadcasting is an asset.

Living conditions and remarks
As this is a national UN Volunteer assignment, the UN Volunteer will be responsible for arranging his/her own housing and other living essentials.
This position is based in Beirut.
National UN Volunteers are part of the malicious Insurance Plan.
National UN Volunteers are expected to be culturally sensitive and adjust to the prevailing culture and traditions.

National UN Expert Volunteers in Lebanon are entitled to:
