    1. The scope of services is divided in 2 lots: (Lot 1) main engineering services which are typical used in most of UNICEF construction activities, and (Lot 2) supplementary technical services referring to specialized engineering services that shall be required only for specific construction activities.
    2. Below are the main engineering services to be provided. Each service is described in detailed in Section 3 Expected Deliverables.

    1. The awarded LTA holders are expected to be able to offer the supplementary technical services listed below for construction projects with high degree of technical requirements, such as cold-room storage, desalination plant, large water treatment facilities, warehouse with large span, etc.:

  2. Advanced Geotechnical Surveys
  3. Advanced Architectural Services
  4. Advanced Building Design Services
  5. Blast Design and Seismic Analysis
  6. Social and Environmental Screening
  7. Project Management (should coordinate closely with UNICEF in-house engineer/s)

Pre-bid Meeting minutes and Q & A attached on 09.09.2021

UNICEF Lebanon would like to tender for the issuance of LTAs for the provision of consulting engineering services in Lebanon as stipulated in the attached LRPS. Hence, I am writing to invite you for submitting your proposal to LRPS- 2021-9169554.

You are kindly requested to quote your best price and submit your proposal by e-mail ONLY to: lebtender@unicef.org not later than 12:00h, 24 September 2021, otherwise it will be considered invalid.

 

Proposals should be sent by email ONLY to lebtender@unicef.org in two separate emails not later than 12:00h, 24 September 2021: one email for the technical proposal and one email for the financial proposal.

- Email for technical proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- technical proposal. The email must include: The technical proposal only without prices.

- Email for price proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- price proposal. The email must include: The price proposal.

Proposals sent in another manner will be invalid.

 

The reference LRPS- 2021-9169554 must be shown in the e-mail's subject.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Bidders are required to submit all mandatory original legal documents mentioned in para 4.0 under ELIGIBILITY AND QUALIFICATIONS (if not recently done) which will be checked for validity. The bidders will be shortlisted for future UNICEF consultancy projects accordingly prior to the opening of the technical and financial proposals.
