Joint venture international companies are encouraged to submit their offers; please review item#4.2 of the above attached document;

All bids shall be submitted in EURO or USD for international companies, the national companies can submit their bids in (USD) or Syrian Pounds (SYP), the Contract will be issued in the same currency of the bid.

The payment will be processed in (USD or EURO) for international companies, while UNICEF will process the payments’ value in Syrian Pounds (SYP) as per the United Nations Exchange Rate on the date of payment process for national companies in case the bid was in USD.

Please, read all the provisions of the Invitation to Bid to ensure that you understand and comply with UNICEF’s requirements.

Please note that any inquiries related to this LRPS will be acceptable through e-mail ONLY by latest: 13 April 2022 and will not be considered through phone calls. Kindly make sure that the e-mail mentions the LRPS reference number LRPS#2022-9174016.

Bidders must indicate the validity period of their bid. Bids should be valid for a period of not less than One  Hundred and Twenty (120) days after the LRPS deadline.

The attached Declaration Form should be stamped, signed and submitted in the proposal.  

P.S: Kindly note that you should provide a copy of the technical proposal without prices mentioned on CD or flash memory with your technical proposal due to the technical evaluation that will happen on the electronic copy.

Technical proposal must be provided in a separate sealed envelope and a soft copy of technical proposal ONLY must be included.

Financial proposal must be provided in a separate sealed envelope.

Through secured email address: syria_supply@unicef.org

Bidders opted to send proposals via secured email syria_supply@unicef.org  must sent proposals in two separate emails: one email for the technical proposal and other email for the financial proposal as more detailed below:

- Email for technical proposal [Technical proposal does not contain prices]:

Subject line of email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- technical proposal. The email must include: The technical proposal.

- Email for price proposal:

Subject line of the email must indicate: LRPS number- name of your company- price proposal.

Proposals sent in another manner will be invalid.
