This is why the focus on equity is so vital. It accelerates progress towards realizing the human rights of all children, which is the universal mandate of UNICEF, as outlined by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, while also supporting the equitable development of nation.

Innovation anchored in the PRIME team and mainstreamed as a core strategy across each of the UNICEF programme sections in the Country Office. Under the supervision and overall guidance of the Chief of PRIME, P5, the Programme Specialist (Innovations) is responsible for coordinating and facilitating this mainstreaming effort, and for providing ongoing technical support to the roll out of Lebanon’s prioritized innovations and to each programme team in the design and implementation of their respective Innovation flagship initiative(s) in close coordination with NYHQ Innovation Unit and the Regional Office.
