2. PURPOSE OF THE POSTUnder the supervision of the Reports Specialist (P3) and the overall guidance of the Chief of SPPME, the incumbent will be accountable for supporting the monitoring of UNICEF’s partnerships and writing/editing Donor Reports for all programme funds under the UNICEF Lebanon Country Office. The duties and responsibilities detailed below will be accomplished in coordination with the Reports Specialist. The post is crucial to the accomplishment of the LCO’s significantly increased volume of work in the area of fundraising and donor reporting.
3. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES With assistance from the EquiTrack Assistant and Information Management Officers, track the process of partner reporting against key results through the EquiTrack system and ActivityInfo, through to donor and SitRep reporting, checking data quality and consistency.Edit and advise on layout of donor reports and proposals in cooperation with programme sections, Reports Specialist and Chief of SPPM&E.Update and maintain information on all donor and programme proposal and reporting requirements. Ensure section heads and field offices are updated on these requirements and follow up as required.Ensure timely and accurate reporting and monitoring of donor interests and information needs. This includes gathering of information, consolidation, editing and production of interim and final reports.In collaboration with the Chief of SPPM&E, Reports Specialist and programme section chiefs, contribute to the development of fundraising proposals for LCO in line with the overall fundraising strategy. This includes compilation of information and editing and layout, when necessary.Write/produce, edit and disseminate human interest stories, photos and social media products with emergency and programmatic focus, in line with donor reporting requirements, as necessary and in conjunction with the Communication Team. Undertake field visits as necessary.Collaborate with the Deputy Representative and Sections Heads to contribute to the compilation, production and dissemination of mandatory UNICEF reports, including the Annual Report and situation reports.

9. QUALIFICATION PROFILEEDUCATION: Advanced university degree in social sciences, development, planning, communication, or related field. A first university degree with a relevant combination of academic qualifications and experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree.WORK EXPERIENCE: Two years of relevant work experience at national level. Experience at international level an advantage. Emergency experience is an asset. LANGUAGES: Fluency in English and Arabic are required.
