M&e Coordinator

Monitoring and Evaluation Job Summary: Working under the direction of the Programs Manager & Deputy programs manager, the M&E Coordinator is expected to contribute to the quality assurance of programs implementation for URDA and NGO partners. S/he will contribute to the monitoring and evaluation functions related to tracking program progress and quality, collecting useful, timely and actionable information for managers and decision-makers, and contribute to the frequent review, reflection and key learning process to improve performance. S/he will be responsible for creating tools and systems to track outputs and outcomes level progress against indicators, coaching field teams in using the tools and methods of data collection for both URDA and NGO partners.   Monitoring and Evaluation Job Duties:  Develop a programs activity and indicator tracker and tracking plan; Develop M&E tools and systems that track the activities, the operational capacities of the NGO partners. Train URDA and NGO partners staff in data collection tools and systems; Manage  programs databases to facilitate timely information updates, data quality assurance, sharing of information and learning, etc.; Work with programs team to integrate M&E into ongoing program planning and implementation systems and ensure adherence to URDA  M&E minimum standards; Lead in designing and conducting assessments and evaluations, training program teams to assist; Assist in programs operational reporting templates for partners and URDA staff that facilitate the acquisition and aggregation of information in programs; Advise programs teams on data and charts to be incorporated into donor reports in planning phase of new programs; Coordinate with Communications Managers to produce analytical summaries: graphs, charts, tables, narratives and appealing visuals, and maps; Develop a monitoring plans and conduct regular monitoring visits; Provide assistance to partner NGOs for the maintenance of their monitoring and evaluation systems; Contribute to a tracking systems, updating program achievements on a monthly basis; Liaise with URDA  teams regularly to identify best practice and lessons learned to benefit the programs; Other assigned tasks, as necessary.
