Field Assistant

• Regular travel to field locations across the north of Lebanon (high flexibility required) • Assist in developing and maintaining relations with refugee and host communities, local authorities and other local actors. • Assist in monitoring and evaluation of activities, and in identifying needs and gaps in assistance. • Assist in accompanying and briefing UNHCR internal and external visitors on activities in the field. • Collect and analyse information received from implementing and operational humanitarian partners. • Counselling refugees and host communities on services and activities, including individual case assessment and follow-up. • Participate in relevant UNHCR and/or partner assessments as needed. • Attend relevant meetings at field level.
