Internship - Protection Unit (File Review Section)

Under the close supervision of the Team Leader / Protection Officer, the interns will assist in the Office’s ongoing file review exercise. More specifically, the interns will: Review the files; Recommend appropriate actions in the individual case – drawing on a set of tools (already designed) aimed at ensuring efficiency and consistency in the review – and refer the cases for review by the Team Leader; At times you will assist in counselling or interviewing, sometimes you will be asked to act as a translator.  In addition, the interns will be asked to: Provide input in order to enhance the file review tools; Conduct research on issues related to durable solutions as well as interim measures inLebanon; Undertake other tasks as required by the Office.
