Senior Field Assistant

Monitor the programs that are being implemented by partner organizations and ensure that implementation is done in accordance with sub-project agreements and UNHCR's program rules. Meet authorized personnel at designated field locations, travels with them and serves as a guide; Act as interpreter in the exchange of routine information, contributes to related liaison activities and responds directly to routine queries Collects data and other information on development and subject-matter activities of the area Follow-up on regular basis the overall situation in refugee settlements and other areas where refugees have been accommodated In co-ordination with the local authorities, monitor the implementation of UNHCR assistance in refugee settlements and assist local implementing partners in matters pertaining to the well-being of refugees; Assist supervisor in planning, formulating, and evaluating projects Perform other duties as required.
