Supply Assistant (Assets)- Adm026 - Beirut (G4 Unops - Affiliated Workforce)

Planning:- Assist his/her Supervisor to plan the acquisition of the new assets (PPEs and STIs) required by the Office through procurement and sourcing from the Asset Market place;- Issue any relevant reports for an effective needs assessment by the Office. Asset Management:- Undertake deemed sourcing and delivery activities related to his/her area of responsibility (physical and MSRP receipts of PPEs and STIs: barcoding, PO receipts …);- Assist in managing PPEs and STIs effectively according to UNHCR rules and regulations including recording in the MSRP of any changes of the PPEs and STIs location, custodian and status, planning and implementing physical verification of PPE, issuance of UNHCR agreements (Right of Use and Transfer of Ownership Agreements);- Prepare and document LAMB (Local Asset Management Board) sessions to be held for the PPEs disposal (creation of GS45 and GS46 if any, collection of required supporting documents, assistance of the LAMB Secretary in files preparation and LAMB meeting venue);- Assist the Office in implementation of LAMB/HAMB (Headquarters Asset Management Board) recommendations or decisions.- Produce standard Asset Management reports and other asset information, periodically and on request. Business Support:- Assist the Supply Officer in providing Asset Stockholders (Administration/Programme) with information they needed on his/her area of activities (annex for IPs sub agreements, purchase plans,…);- Any other responsibility deemed necessary or as delegated by the Supervisor in order to meet the level of service requires by the organisation Authority:- Identify the best options for the assets disposal.- Decide on the content of information and reports submitted to the Supervisor.
