Total number of working months: 2 months (October-November 2016)
Total number of working hours per day: 7.5 hours (excluding half hour lunch break)
Location of work: UNHCR Office, Beirut, Lebanon
General Background of Project: The incumbent is responsible to finalize a telephone survey based on a standardized interview questionnaire with a randomly selected refugee sample for UNHCR to monitor refugees’ access and progress in the birth registration procedures with the civil authorities in Lebanon.
Responsibilities:
1- Conduct the telephone interviews based on a standardized interview questionnaire and counsel refugees on further steps in the process.
2- Counsel parents of new born babies on the birth registration procedure.
3- Enter the data directly to the database system during interviews.
4- Produce a snapshot on access and challenges to birth registration.
5- Undertake follow up calls with people counselled during the survey to monitor effectiveness of assistance provided.
Definition of the Final Product:
Accurately completed interviews entered on the database and final narrative report prepared.
Duration of Engagement:
The incumbent will be engaged for 2 months from his/her starting date.
Payment Criteria:
Upon the successful completion of service the incumbent will be paid LBP 2,796,166.0 per month.
