In view of UNFPA’s resilience related activities in Lebanon in support of the Syrian refugees as well as Lebanese affected by the Syrian crisis, the UNFPA Country Office (CO) requires additional support to ensure the timely delivery of response and high quality activities and services.  UNFPA Lebanon has developed its intervention plan focusing on Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Reproductive Health (RH) with particular emphasis on youth in line with the Regional Response Plan for Syria, UNFPA Strategic Framework for the Syria crisis and the Government Response Plan for the Syria Crisis.    GBV prevention and response is receiving increased attention from governments, civil society, donors and the UN system be it in development as well as humanitarian as related contexts.
