Hiring Office: UNFPA Country Office - Lebanon
Purpose of consultancy: The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) works to deliver a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled. In Lebanon, the UNFPA Country Office is at the forefront of addressing gender-based violence, reproductive health, and population dynamics within the framework of the national framework and United Nations Strategic documents in Lebanon. Lebanon is currently facing a complex humanitarian situation categorized as a level three emergency. This complexity arises from the presence of multiple vulnerable groups, including IDPs, returnees, and refugees. However, the current ceasefire presents an opportunity to address the existing humanitarian needs and initiate reconstruction and resilience efforts.
