Back to School Outreach Coordinator

Conduct extensive door to door household visits, phone calls, coordination with education partners, information sessions with caregivers/children;

Be familiar with numerous families in the community and have the ability to effectively identify and engage children and young people who are out of school and not enrolled in UNRWA schools, or other education pathways;

Have established connections with local NGOs/CBOs;

Actively seek young people who are not linked to education and refer them to the respective services, as needed;

Conduct data entry for registration/referral forms and consolidate into weekly reports;

Complete registration forms during outreach and follow up on referrals, as needed;

Identify opportunities for referrals through coordination with local NGOs/CBOs;

Communicate regularly with caregivers and/or children about the status of their request to enroll in UNRWA schools, and/or other educational opportunities;

Complete a minimum of 6 referral forms per day;

Monitoring will be conducted by designed area-level team leaders via ongoing communication through WhatsApp check-ins and photos, application reviews, team meetings, as well as monitoring visits by Team Leader and/or Supervisor;
