Education Technical Support Unit Coordinator

Contributes to the overall planning and management of the assigned Technical Support Unit functional area/s in close collaboration with supervisor; develops work plan(s) and ensures timely, efficient and effective implementation of these plans towards the  achievement of  outputs, outcomes, and alignment  with programme priorities; As requested,  monitors and  evaluates the implementation  of activities related to his/her assigned Technical Support Unit (TSU) functions; prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports; Participates actively in  the implementation of the  Education Strategies and Policies including Technical and Vocational Education and training (TVET); Coordinates, as necessary, the implementation of his/her  assigned functional area/s with  internal and external stakeholders   thereby contributing to quality, equitable and inclusive education; Conducts research and analysis in his/her assigned functional area/s and provides input to ensure that initiatives and activities are evidence-based; develops briefing materials for senior management and external stakeholders, as required; Supports the integration of UNRWA cross-cutting issues (gender, protection, youth, Human Rights  and inclusion) by mainstreaming them into his/her assigned functional area/s; Performs such other duties as may be required.
