Midwife A (Roster all areas), H02

Provides comprehensive maternal health care services including pre-conception care, antenatal, post-natal, family planning, mental health, dental services referral, education activities and counseling according to the program's technical instructions;

Performs periodic IUD insertion and checkups after insertion according to the rules and regulations in the host country;

Participates in all activities including cross cutting issues (GBV, disability....etc.) to ensure that health services are provided within the Family Health Team Approach context and according to technical instructions when needed;

Maintains a high standard of infection control to ensure safety of staff and clients as well as controls and keeps records proper implementation of medical waste management; ensuring cleaning and sterilization of instruments at Family Planning room and treatment room; maintains a healthy and safe work environment;

Participates and facilitates in the training activities and on the job training;

Provides services and follow up of data entry and proper recording and reporting on the electronic medical records system and required registers in accordance with practice policy;

Keeps adequate recording of received and used supplies needed for the nursing activities in her assigned working stations; follow-up of defaulters' patients, assists and facilitates home visits to check on the health status of patients as well as defaulting where applicable;

Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
