Ophthalmologist, Saida, North and Central Lebanon Area - Roster, H08

Examines, treats and follows-up on patients with ophthalmic diseases.

Maintains records of patients on the electronic medical records (EMR) system and provides statistical data and relevant information on such patients to the Field Office on monthly Quarterly basis.

Plans and directs the in-service training of medical officers on early detection and prevention of ophthalmic diseases, as well as on the appropriate management of eye diseases not requiring specialist opinion.

Maintains an effective system of referral and feedback within the UNRWA health centres and from contracted and government hospital, and refers refugee patients through hospitalization management system.

Ensures that equipment and supplies are maintained, and techniques are performed in accordance with standard Agency procedures.

Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

An Advanced degree in ophthalmology specialty.
A valid license to practice medicine as Ophthalmologist in the country of duty station (where applicable).
