Receives registration applications submitted by refugees on transfers from Field to Field and amendments of family and individual particulars, which cannot be processed by Area Offices and maintains records/files thereof;
Conducts field/home visits, as required, and thorough investigations of families applying for new registration (new inscription) as per instructions stipulated in the Consolidated Eligibility and Registration Instructions (CERI);
Gives advice to other registration staff on complex cases that require further investigation;
Monitors and analyses data to ensure its accuracy;
Verifies refugee status for requests received from inside/outside UNRWA to identify eligibility for UNRWA services;
Drafts correspondence related to department functions and prepares statistical tables and reports as required for use by management in forecasting and planning;
Investigates and studies specific cases such as re-registration and late registration and follows up on cases of falsification and forgery in supporting documents and records as necessary;
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
