Internship (School Feeding) - 2 positions

Under the direct supervision of the Programme Policy Officer (School Feeding and Nutrition), the selected candidates will be assisting the Programme Unit (School feeding and Nutrition) with the following key duties:

Implementation of a Knowledge Attitude Practice (KAP) survey to a sample of students participating in the WFP nutrition summer camps, specifically in:

1. Reviewing the relevant literature
2. Administering the questionnaires
3. Assisting in data entry and cleaning
4. Assisting in the analysis and summary of the findings
5. Other survey-related tasks as needed

The selected candidates will be provided with necessary training and on the job orientation to ensure clear understanding of the work requirements.

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in University, and have attended courses in the last 12 months in a graduate studies programme; or have recently graduated in the last 12 months with a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Food Security, or related fields.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Flexible to travel around Lebanon for data collection.   

• Interns receive a monthly stipend from WFP up to the amount of US$1,000 per month depending on the duty station.
• WFP is not responsible for living expenses, arrangements for accommodation, travel to and from WFP internship location, necessary visas and costs related.
• Internal trips within Lebanon for the purpose of the study will be organized by WFP
