Retail Assistant –Special Service Agreement ( SSA) Level 5 -(Three positions)-Beirut / Zahle / Qobayat Sub-Offices,Lebanon CO

Within delegated authority and under the direct supervision of the Retail Associate and the overall supervision of the Retail Manager, the Retail Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

Manage closely the Monitoring Assistants with shops capacity building visits: organize visits in advance, plan the tasks, train the Monitoring Assistants Retail focal points;

Visit shops to improve the level of contracted shops in terms of Retail standards: hygiene, pricing, safety, data sending, stock processing, mandatory range numerical distribution, etc. to increase compliance of shops with contracted items;

Ensure proper collection of all Data about shops (except for sales Data) to track history of the relationship between WFP and each shop;

Liaise with the Monitoring Team on issues related to shops and present cases to the Shop Management Group;

Assist the Retail Manager in increasing the number of contracted shops and act as a business partner;

Coordinate with retailers and the Sub-Offices to ensure efficient operations of the retail network;

Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Completion of Secondary School Education. University Degree in Management, Economics, Supply Chain or other related field is a plus.

Experience:

At least three (3) years of experience in the field of Retail, operational grocery retail as a department/sector head or in an organized retail chain. Experience in modern trade is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of shop management,

Good organizational skills,

Tutoring skills, with ability to communicate and convince

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Languages:

Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Arabic.
