Proposals Administrator

Responsibilities

  • searching the media and making direct communication to find funding opportunities announced by donors within the country or abroad within the interest of the institution.
  • writing any proposed project in coordination with the project manager in full details according to the requirements of the donor.
  • Suggesting innovative ideas for more effective resource mobilization and development.
  • communicating and coordinating with the donors, and responding to their inquiries regarding the proposed project’s details submitted by the institution.
  • Will be delegated by the Foundation to meet potential donors within the country.

 

Mission

  • follow up on donors ’announcements about funding opportunities for projects and attend their meetings within the institution’s jurisdiction.
  • determine the time frame and resource requirements for each funding opportunity (project).
  • contribute to the development process, ways to activate and improve performance by submitting constructive proposals to the Project Manager in order to increase resources effectively.
  • prepare the monthly and annual reports on the projects executed by the organization to be submitted to the Operations Manager.
  • provide donors with reports on project implementation progress periodically.
  • coordinate with the financial department in the budgets of the proposed projects.

  • outstanding capability to raise funds through practical skills.
  • having a wide social relations base within civil society institutions and donors.
  • Possess excellent capability in interpersonal relationships, power of influence, and skill of communication.
  • ability to withstand work pressure, set priorities, and master the coordination of tasks effectively.
  • high skills in writing projects in English in a clear and effective way.

 

Academic qualifications and experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, project management, social sciences, or any other related field.
  • outstanding skill in writing and speaking in the English language.
  • She/he must have worked in civil society institutions for a period of no less than 5 years
  • She/he must have within her/his experiences several approved and implemented project proposals that had been processed (studied and written) by her/him.
