Senior Mechanical Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical Systems Maintenance

• Maintain chillers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and cooling systems.
• Ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Execute preventive maintenance programs and inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical failures.
• Respond to maintenance requests through CAFM system.

System Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor HVAC systems and performance.
• Identify inefficiencies and operational issues.
• Support BMS monitoring and system coordination.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safe operation of mechanical systems.
• Follow HSE procedures during maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with HSE when required.

Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate with maintenance teams and CAFM system.
• Report recurring issues and system risks.
• Maintain maintenance records.

Emergency Support

• Support emergency response operations.
• Assist in restoring HVAC systems during incidents.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma (BT / TS) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC or mechanical systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an institutional or multi-building campus environment.
• Familiarity with BMS systems and CAFM platforms.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency practices in HVAC operations.

Working Conditions:

• Field-based across campuses.
• Exposure to technical and physical environments.
• On-call availability for emergencies.
