Learning Support Teacher

General Information about Venture Association: Venture Association/Al Qadisyeh in Beddawi and Naher Al Bared Camp announces the need for a Learning Support Teacher. To work within the project implemented in partnership with TDH-ITALY and UNRWA- Funded by EU- MADAD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and educating students according to the educational
  needs, abilities and attainment potential of individual students entrusted
  to his/her care.
• Responsible for submitting daily timesheet to the line manager.
• Assigning the needs of students and using knowledge and
  specialized skills to support students’ learning;
• Working with selected students, on individual and small group basis,
  in learning support interventions specifically designed to support their
  needs; and the basic skills in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Arabic,
  English and Math.
• Providing objective and accurate feedback and reports as required
  on students’ achievement, progress and other matters.
• Controlling and maintaining the equipment and contents available
  in the center.
• Keeping an ongoing positive communication with the parents.
• Undertaking any other duties, as may be required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of experience working in Active and Inclusive
  Learning support with (7th 8th or 9th grades)
  and experience in teaching UNRWA curricular.
• Bachelor’s degree of one of
  educational majors (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, English or
  Arabic)
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic
  languages.
• Experience in computer skills "computer programs",
  experience in social networking sites and creating educational videos.

Ø  Enthusiastic and looks for continuous self-development.

Job Procedures:

- Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a Technical Test & interview conducted in
English.
- Priority will be given to fully qualified registered Palestinian refugees’ candidates.
- Only the top 05- ranked-candidates in the technical test will be invited for the
interview.
- Applicants to this position should be vaccinated at least one dose or ready to be vaccinated.
