As the situation in South Sudan continues to deteriorate, War Child is gravely concerned for the 5.4 million children and youth in South Sudan who face a growing threat of violence and recruitment to armed groups.
The conflict between armed groups in Lebanon and the Israeli army from October 2023 to November 2024 caused significant trauma to over 1.3 million children and families.
Because while this ceasefire is a critical first step, much work remains. More than 1.3 million people have been affected by this conflict; children have experienced daily violence, causing severe fear and trauma.
