Call for Expression of interest : Empowering Caregivers through the Be There Program – Lebanon
Introduction:
War Child organizations around the world have come together to form the War Child Alliance, a vibrant international network united by a shared belief: that no child should ever be part of war. The first charities bearing the War Child name were founded in the UK in 1993 and in the Netherlands in 1995. Since then, both organizations—joined more recently by new War Child entities in Germany, Sweden, and the US (where it is known as Children in Conflict)—have worked closely together while running their own child support programs.
In Lebanon, War Child is active across all governorates, currently working in over 20 locations, including the most vulnerable areas. Our psychosocial support, education, and protection programs serve Syrian and Palestinian refugees as well as host communities, with a strong focus on partnerships with local NGOs and grassroots organizations.
War Child Alliance in Lebanon is pleased to announce an open Call for Expression of Interest under the “Be There – Supporting Caregivers and Communities for Resilience” project, funded by the Nationale Postcode Lottery. This initiative aims to enhance the psychosocial well-being of caregivers and children affected by the Syrian crisis in Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan, with a current focus on expanding implementation in Lebanon.
