Objective
“Time to be a child” project is looking for a temporary internship within the Program Implementation Unit.
He will be supporting the Field staff to achieve the objectives of the project.
The project will address the need to protect Syrian and vulnerable Lebanese children from abuse, exploitation, violence and provide them with skills and resources to foster their resilience and healthy development. The project will adopt a community-based approach (CBA) prioritizing participation of all community members, children and caregivers, to ensure future recovery and social stability.
Qualification
University Student or fresh graduate in social science Major or Psychologist.
Duties and Responsibilities
The intern will be expected to support in the following:
- Assists Field staff with day-to-day tasks such as Data-Entry and Filing.
- Supports Field staff in monitoring project activities.
- Ensures that project activities are well implemented and done in a safe place.
- Promotes and facilitates that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into project activities.
- Collects and records the needed information from CBOs for monitoring and evaluation purposes.

- Understanding Warchild PSS methodology standards.
- Learning about Child protection/Child safety policy.
- Working experience for an international organization environment.
- Building relationships with CBOs, Municipalities and stakeholders.
- Assessing, planning, organizing and monitoring of any project activities.
- Participation in project result of good implementation, mobilization and facilitation.
