Deal Trainer

                                                       Responsibilities Design and Delivery Plan, implement and evaluate training courses on War Child PSS methodology, which involve creative tools such as games, songs, fine art, audio-visuals, group discussions, demonstrations, and practice sessions with feedback and role play. Based on training plans, Deal trainer design and deliver active training programs on IDEAL, SHE Deal, Big Deal and Parent Deal that best suit the needs of the trainees and meet the established training goals as per methodology. Ensure that all training requirements are met as outlined in War Child training of Trainers guideline. Review and adjust PSS training program to make sure that relevant, accurate and up-to-date information is always presented. Coordinate with War child officers and social workers in field locations and work in a team to produce capacity building and follow up plans that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the field. Collect and document feedback from the field on the implementation of the methodology including challenges and lessons learnt. Support in the revision of the methodology as required by the Quality Manager. Suggest to the Quality manger modification of sessions and exercises in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment, based on the feedback from trainees and children. Assist in the development of new PSS methodologies. Develop and coordinate induction programmes on Deals PSS methodology for newly recruited staff. Maintain safe training environment by following War child safety procedures. Coordinate training workshops and conferences. Develop training reports.   Monitoring and Evaluation Responsible for frequently checking trainees comprehension and understanding throughout the training workshop. Support trainees during practical intervention. After training, conduct follow-up visits using observations and interviews to verify that learning objectives were met. Ensure the use of War Child M&E tools and formats. ·         Design and implement monitoring and evaluation tools in coordination with the PSS \protection expert and provide quality control department with information necessary to assess the program quality. Support the implementation of Deals evaluations to measure the effectiveness of the methodology. ·         Assist in analysing the data collected and reporting on both quantitative and qualitative figures. ·         Visiting project sites at least 4 days per week and provide information about progress when required. Evaluate the performance of the trainees through assessing their skills and knowledge in implementing WCH PSS methodology. Establish plans to support learning process and the retaining of trainees skills. ·         Monitor the progress of trainees and produce progress report per trainee. ·         Provide recommendations to Manger when necessary on recruitment of potential facilitators and animators.
