Digital Learning Officer

Job responsibilities/skills

- Coordinate with the Project Manager and Digital Learning Coordinator to resolve any challenges

- Ensure the implementation of the digital component in the work plan

- Tools needed are in place for a smooth operation

- Follow up with the digital focal points of the partners about the updates or challenges

- Continuous support of field staff using the platforms

- Follow up with the teachers and center managers and provide capacity-building and refreshers

- Distribution and safeguarding of the tablets in the programmatic centers

Knowledge and Experience

Degree in IT or a related field;

Knowledge of Android tablets and apps

At least 2 years of relevant employment experience;

Experience in working on projects focusing on child protection / psychosocial support/education (institutional funding preferred);

Previous experience working with children/refuges/vulnerable populations;

Skills and Competencies

Strong communication skills;

Fluency in Arabic;

Strong spoken and written English skills, including demonstrated reporting ability;

Demonstrated people management skills;

Demonstrated financial management skills;

Flexibility;

Cultural sensitivity;

Attention to detail with strong follow-up;

Team-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently independently;

Proficient in Microsoft Office - word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
