Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator
Objective of the position
The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (PME) Coordinator will be responsible for building the capacity of War Child Holland’s (WCH) partners in planning, monitoring and evaluation. The PME Coordinator will also monitor the overall progress of 5 partner projects and being responsible of the internal PME of WCH in Lebanon. He/she will work closely with the War Child Holland Team to ensure the high quality of the whole War Child programme.

Responsibilities
Strategy and Programs
Ensure the use of the WCH tools and formats for PME in close collaboration with the Programme Development Manager.
Regular follow up and monitoring of partner projects.
Ensure periodic project evaluations take place.
Identify lessons learned, knowledge, and otherwise relevant information and proactively share these with War Child HQ and partner organizations.
Support partners in elements of strategic planning such as stakeholder and SWOT analysis
Represent WCH Lebanon in relevant working groups and other coordination platforms
Projects and Administration
Manage the output database
Contribute to 4 month, 8 month and 12 month reports
Support Advocacy, Communications and Child Protection Programming as needed
Provide the Partners with content support and organizational capacity building support.
General
To work closely and effectively with the War Child Holland Lebanon Team.
Liaise and coordinate with the government/ UN agencies and National-International NGOs
Coordination of trainings, workshops and conferences.
Liaise with professional counterparts of (inter)national authorities and organizations;
Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the Representative.
Reporting
Reports to the Program Development Manager.
Applicant’s Profile:
3 years of experience working in child centered programming in the region
extensive knowledge in planning, monitoring and evaluation including developing tools and supporting local partners
experience in psychosocial support programming
background/knowledge in child rights
familiarity with creative methodologies
good writing skills
works well in small team, flexible to take on new tasks, comfortable in a flexible working environment.
strong social and communication skills
fluency in English and Arabic.
Driving license required.
Conditions
Full time job of 40 hours per week, distributed in five days according the needs of the program.
Competitive remuneration.
Local contract.
The staff will follow the Terms and Conditions of employment of War Child Holland in Lebanon.
Time-frame
