Assess the needs and priorities of the targeted beneficiaries and define suitable activities based on participatory approach.
Set up appropriate timetable for psycho-social support, vocational training and educational activities.
Follow-up attendance of children, report absences and propose appropriate measures when needed.
Counsel individuals, groups, families, or communities regarding issues including mental health, poverty, unemployment, substance abuse, physical abuse, rehabilitation, social adjustment, child care, and/or medical care
Update file for each refugee child and his/her family
Follow-up with trainers and children
Organize a monthly meeting with teachers and trainers
Organize referrals and follow-up cases.
Maintain case history records and prepare reports
Ensures activities are appropriate for the physical and mental capacity of children.
Reports to the child protection focal point as soon as she/he suspect or observe or informed a child or children are at risk of abuse.
Outreach activities
When requested,
Conduct field visit s at least once per week
Collect data and updating a database
Conduct surveys and studies as requested
Applicant’s Profile:
Degree in Social Work or related field
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Experience with refugees/vulnerable populations preferred
Arabic fluency and strong English skills
Strong computer skills
Strong communication skills
Flexible team member
Conditions
Full time job of 40 hours per week, distributed in five days according the needs of the program.
