Speech Therapist

A speech and language therapist works to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in children and adults.

The speech and language therapist works:

On the auditory rehabilitation of persons

Deaf or hard of hearing.

Provides augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems to individuals with severe disorders of expression and/or language comprehension, such as autism spectrum disorder or progressive neurological disorders.

To help people with learning difficulties in reading and writing, in addition to developing logical analysis in mathematics.

Maintain confidentiality and privacy of case.

Preparing special notes and recommendations for each child

Provide referral services if needed.
