Community Empowerment Workers

Responsible for: Support in assisting the Emergency officer and Community Empowerment Supervisor with a timely and good quality supervision in line with GVC Protection Strategy MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   In collaboration with the mobile Protection Monitors, track community resilience mechanisms and ensure community protection empowerment through protection awareness and community referral Participate in the implementation of GVC community based protection strategy within Syrian refugees through mobile outreach activities, focus group discussions, assessment of community-level vulnerabilities and data analysis. Timely refer to the Protection and WASH team vulnerable individuals and HH in need of emergency support Report information in ODK and ensure that are daily uploaded on GVC platform Contribute to an effective information management through the provision of disaggregated data on populations, problems and coping strategies Support the community empowerment supervisor in assessment and field visits   REPORTING Daily and weekly reporting to the Community empowerment supervisor. PERSONAL AND INTER-PERSONAL SKILLS Highly organised and able to work independently and respecting deadlines Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and willingness to work long hours Being flexible and with the ability to adjust to changes and new requirements  Ability to work with team-members with different backgrounds
