Education Supervisor

GVC is an Italian NGO founded in 1971. Actually is working in 22 countries worldwide. GVC presence in Lebanon dates back to the begin of Syrian Crisis and since then GVC has been implementing emergency and development projects in Bekaa financed by International Donors. GVC is recruiting personnel to cover the position of Education Supervisor to support activities in Bekaa Position Title: Education Supervisor Reporting to: Program Manager Duty station: 60% GVC Office in Ain, North Bekaa and 40% GVC Office in Zahle, Central Bekaa Salary grade: G4 / L0 OBJECTIVES: GVC is seeking an education supervisor to support and coordinate education activities transversely in GVC. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the coordination of activities' education organized in primary school Labwe Ensure adherence to ethical principles and accountability of GVC Support the development of education work plans on a weekly and monthly basis Provide weekly and monthly reporting forms following the GVC Support in proposal writing and share ideas for improving implementation of the education program Support implementation of activities LOST 'with parents and / or activities' Community Ensure coordination with the GVC and LOST team that implements the activities' Ensure a critical eye over the inclusion of gender and children with major difficulties' Ensure monthly participation in education coordination groups in Zahle Trained GVC teams in education programs when required to make sure Education is mainstreamed in the sectors QUALIFICATIONS University degree in education field Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs At least 4 years of previous experience in NGOS as in the education field will be an asset Driving licence (mandatory) PERSONAL AND INTER-PERSONAL SKILLS Arabic and Fluency in spoken English Highly organised and able to work independently and respecting deadlines Strong sense of responsibility, flexibility and willingness to work long hours Being flexible and with the ability to adjust to changes and new requirements EMPLOYEMENT CONDITIONS Contract duration: 7 months; Required Starting Date: Beginning of September;
